Intel D945PLNM CPU Board with Intel 946 Chipset and Intel Processor Simple Type: CPU Board
Desktop Board D945PLNM supports an Intel processor in the LGA775 package. The D945PLNM includes a flexible 6-channel (5.1) audio subsystem based on the Intel High Definition Audio interface. The LAN subsystem, with Intel 82801GB (ICH7) provides 0/100 Ethernet LAN controller (Intel 82562), support for RJ-45 connector with status indicator LEDs, programmable transit threshold, and a configurable EEPROM that contains the MAC address. The ICH7’s IDE interface handles the exchange of information between the processor and peripheral devices such as hard disk drives and CD-ROM drives. The desktop board supports four Serial ATA channels (3.0 Gb/s) via ICH7, connecting one device per channel.
